"Medical science has made such tremendous progress that there is hardly a healthy human left." ( Aldous Huxley)

“Today more than 95% of all chronic disease is caused by food choice, toxic food ingredients, nutritional deficiencies, and lack of physical exercise.” – Mike Adams

Sunshine is the best medicine.

We should all know the health benefits of getting the right amount of Vitamin D3 and there is no better or more natural way than by being out in the sunshine.  During Spring and Summer, most people can make enough vitamin D from  short periods of exposure to the UV rays shining on skin (without any sunscreen barriers) , such as the hands,  forearms,  or lower legs. This must be in the open air, it doesn't work with rays through glass.

Some foods provide a source of Vitamin D, such as oily fish (salmon, sardines, herring, mackerel, tuna), also egg yolks, red meat, liver, mushrooms, milk, butter, cheese, some margarine. The old-fashioned traditional stand-by Cod Liver Oil is one of the best supplements, with a wealth of health benefits, including bio-available Vit D (as usual, Grandmother was right!)

Research shows that vitamin D plays  a very important role in the immune function, and deficiency will increase susceptibility to infection, especially during the cold & 'flu season. if you top-up with a supplement, remember that vitamin D is fat soluble, so best taken with fat / oil /milk to help transport it in the body. Vitamin K (Nattokinase) is recommended when supplementing with Vitamin D3, as the two work together, also with Magnesium and Potassium.
